The League of Anambra Journalists in Abuja (LAJA) has congratulated Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, of Anambra on his emphatic 21 over 21 victory in the just concluded governorship election.
The journalists extended their congratulatory message in a Statement signed by Ambassador Ikenna Okonkwo and Princess Ekwi Ajide, its interim President and interim Secretary respectively.
LAJA described Soludo’s landslide victory as a reaffirmation of the trust and confidence the people of Anambra had in his visionary leadership and transformative governance style.
It said the outcome of the election reflected the overwhelming approval of the governor’s ongoing reforms, development strides, and his unwavering commitment to building a liveable and prosperous homeland for all.
“Gov. Soludo’s sweeping victory was not just an electoral feat but a clear endorsement of competence, continuity, and purposeful leadership.
“The people of Anambra have once again demonstrated unity, political maturity, and a collective resolve to sustain the progress already being made in the state,” it said.
LAJA commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, election observers, and all stakeholders for ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and credible process that truly mirrored the will of the electorate.
The group urged Soludo to view the overwhelming mandate as a call to deepen reforms, consolidate gains, and broaden development across all sectors for the benefit of Ndi Anambra.
“LAJA stands firmly with the Governor as partners in progress and will continue to support all efforts aimed at advancing the collective aspirations of the people,” it said.
